Lucite is an acrylic resin and was first marketed by DuPont in 1937. Lucite can be moulded, cast, laminated, and carved. Although in its original state it is clear and colourless, it can be tinted any color from transparent to opaque.

At AGS we can produce practically any shape size or colour you require and encapsulate objects to your specification. The links below give you an idea of some of our previous work.

Satellite Lucite block encapsulated 6 page mini book
7.5 x 7.5 x 7.5cm. To promote the launch of a new Cable & Satellite magazine, individual pages were selected from the original and reduced down to 1/6 scale to great effect   

Mount Rushmore Lucite molded block. 30 were developed for one of the leading US finance companies.  Once moulded the blocks were mounted onto a cherry wood plaque and laser engraved with ‘A Landmark Achievement’ – Dated 02-02-01’ and awarded to the top sales companies.

Lucite moulded telephone developed mark the merger of  the Telenor and Telia communications companies October 1999. A telephone shaped block for a communications company, need we say any more? Perfect

 
Ace press award complete with analogue time piece insert. Developed for the ACE Press Organisation and presented to the leading national newspapers and magazines for their ‘Circulation Excellence and Endeavour’ in 1998
